Novacaine: The Action-Comedy You Can’t Miss in 2025

Just saw this fantastic action packed thriller this evening at the AMC Cascades 14 theater in Burlington, Washington as a double-feature with “Locked.” Was pleased with both films. Directed by the talented duo Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, and written by Lars Jacobson, this movie promises plenty of thrills, laughs, and an emotional rollercoaster. Starring Jack Quaid and Amber Midthunder, “Novacaine” combines sharp humor and pulse-pounding action with a twist—its protagonist, Nathan Caine, was born with Congenital Insensitivity to Pain (CIPA).

The Lure (NR: 2015)

The story shows the tale of mermaid sisters named “Silver” and “Golden” who become enchanted by the song of “Figs and Dates” band members partying on the beach – they make friends and become adopted by the cabaret club the band operates within. Its a twisted love story beyond the “Little Mermaid” obsession
