Anyone who knows me, knows that I love horror movies … even the campy ones. But this one … wow, just wow … sucked worse than anything I’ve ever seen. I really don’t even want to write a review, but more of a warning “not to waste your money or time with this one.” Poor acting, poor directing, and absolutely crappy composition. The “monster” – take off on “Jason” in Friday the 13th series, was just boring and made no sense. The firefighter mask was sooo stupid. Why this insane non-verbal killer would go out of his way to dismember his victims the way he did made no absolute sense.
The premise sounded good, but did not play well at all making the storyline crap. “When a group of teens takes a locket from a collapsed fire tower in the woods, they unwittingly resurrect the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 60-year old crime. The undead killer soon embarks on a bloody rampage to retrieve the stolen locket, methodically slaughtering anyone who gets in his way.”
The director and creator of this film lacks any imagination whatsoever to create their own ideas … they borrowed and had epic fail on almost every snippet they used from other campy horror flicks. Don’t waste your time.
I won’t even both listing the director, writer, and actor/actress names for this one. A total complete failure.
