An Amazing epic tale of the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 B.C. when Persia and its Immortal army tried to take Sparta. Based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel telling of a magical historical battle of 300 Spartans up against tens of thousands of ogre-like Immortals and beast slaves of the Persian God-King Xerxes. From defiance to adultery, from deceipt to ignorance, from pride to humility, the mythic race of Spartans, trained from birth as warriors, followed by their progeny, disregard Persia’s request to submit to the Persian world empire. With magic and sorcery, spears, and shields, a tremendous battle takes place between the Spartans and the Persians to prevent their entry into Greece. This is a must-see movie. Rating: 5 stars out of 5.
