Cheyenne – Saratoga – Little America, Wyoming
It was a rough drive last night with the high winds in Wyoming rocking the car and trailer. They pit stopped at a rest area in between Laramie and Rawlins, Wyoming. It was comfortable to sleep, but the winds did rock them to sleep. They were exhausted after seeing “Tenet” which was way too long, delaying their journey somewhat.
They were up in the wee-hours, driving through the extremely smoky and hazy interstate polluted from wildfires. In some areas, it was thick as soup. Most of the fires were outside of Cheyenne. It was a bit difficult to breathe. They went early for a morning dip in Hobo Hot Springs – Cian wasn’t interested in soaking in the hot waters so played along the edge with his Alien Autopsy Kit. Dad relaxed and recovered. They then drove on to Rawlins, grabbing breakfast at a fast-food restaurant – stopping to use their WiFi to do Cian’s 10-1230 2nd grade zoom class. Dad gave Cian his mom’s old cd player/disk man, but it wasn’t working that great. They pit stopped for fuel and continued e-classes in a Taco Bell Parking lot. Than a Starbucks parking lot in Rock Springs for his RLC Class. They raced off to Little America to do Cian’s PE e-class.
Grabbing a hotel room, they got dinner and had them unlock the pool for the last of the seasonal outdoor swimming. They swam in the tepid cold waters, refreshed than an evening of Halloween movies in the hotel room. Dad worked on client work. The room was supposed to be free from points earned at Hotels.com but the Hotel accidentally charged the card. It took some time to work it out to remove the charges. They had a restful sleep. The New Walking Dead with 75 cents soft-serve ice cream from Little America.
