Arvada – Denver, Colorado
The duo got home by 2 am after a great night of dancing at Dark Lots. Oisin and Allison passed out. Oisin had to get up by 8 am as the kid’s therapists were soon to arrive and were out of the house by 8:30 am. He was exhausted. He headed over to the home pad to do client work as Allison let him. Astranna had moved back in so he called her to give heads up of his arrival. They caught up and hung out a bit before he dove into client work, web development, and programming.
He pit stopped at Starbucks for a Caffeine fix – grabbing a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino and an Egg/Cheese Croissant for a late breakfast/lunch. He had a client meeting at 3 pm in Denver – wrapping up a website makeover for a client. He trained her and got updates for the remainder of the work to be done. Departing her place by 6:30 pm, he headed back to Arvada. His old roommate Jesse called – they caught up over the phone. Then another repeat visit to Starbucks. Back at the house – he hung out with Allison and Brandon. Brandon retired early so Oisin and Allison finished up watching the HBOMAX show “Q into the Storm”. Then binge-watched “A Discovery of Witches” before retiring for the night.
In the news according to the New York Times and NPR – Aleksei Navalny, Putin’s fiercest critic, went to court and discussed the Russian protests. Navalny tried to run for president in 2018 but the Kremlin wouldn’t let him, so he opened offices nationwide and campaigned for everyone to boycott the election. This led to his imprisonment. Navalny fights the corruption of Russia. His team is promising another nationwide protest.
In Pandemic news – New York is increasing in infections during its seven-day average as well as in the remainder of the United States, particularly Michigan and the Midwest. This upset Oisin as he was heading to the Midwest. Thank the Goddess he was vaccinated. Even though hospitalizations and deaths have fallen, cases have not. More discussions of digital vaccine passports were discussed in Washington. Spain breaks the lockdowns of festivals in the world and throws a test concert in Barcelona with about 5,000 in attendance. Covid variants that are more harmful to kids have begun to emerge worldwide. Stepping up on trials and development for vaccinating kids became top of the news.
Tugboats are still struggling to get the Ever Given unstuck in the Suez Canal, though got it partially afloat again. Myanmar’s army again turned guns on civilians. Thousands have fled the coastal region in northeastern Mozambique.
The Derek Chauvin trial on the killing of George Floyed begins in Minneapolis. Powerful storms flood roads and houses in Nashville with 4 recorded deaths.
