The Adventures of Sir Oisin Rhymour Leif McGowan: 2020 to the Present

02.06.20: Flooding in Enumclaw, Dashing, Looks, and WooCommerce Woes

Awaking again by 5:30 am, Oisin prepares for Cian’s arrival before school. They sleep from 6:15 am until 8 am helping ensure that Cian gets as close to 10 hours of sleep per night as he can. They play some games and toy soldiers, then dad drops him off at school by 8:30 am – as is the normal weekday grind these days. After school, Oisin works on client web development work – troubleshooting some issues he’s having with a client’s WordPress site – the Broadsheet theme isn’t displaying category images properly in the WooCommerce Marketplace software program. He networks with the theme designers to work out a fix.

Fears of insurance payments and storage units auto-debiting from his account creating overdraft fees concern his mental state for most of the morning, but luckily a web client pays and therefore avoids the overdraft. While Oisin was fearful he hit the streets to do some dashing to keep afloat. Such are the dilemmas of being self-employed.

Later that morning he had a insurance investigation claim to do for WeGoLook in Enumclaw. Driving into the foothills and valleys, he passes by a eerie side of the highway of what looks like the dumping grounds of Ted Bundy formerly in the area that he believes he watched the night before on the new Amazon series “Falling for a Killer: The Ted Bundy Story”. Thoughts of his crossed history of nameplaces where this killer hunted bugged him that he was a constant horror icon popping up through his life from schooling at Florida State University and living in Tallahassee, Denver, Seattle, and Roswell.

Oisin navigates around the flooded back roads to his look in Enumclaw, luckily getting through to perform the job.

He has to drive quickly back from Enumclaw to pick up his son from school. After school they play and have adventures together. Mom picks up Cian at 6:30 pm earlier than usual, so Oisin has time to race off to the Southcenter AMC to use one of his free three weekly movies watching “Birds of Prey”. He oddly felt that Harlequin looked eerily too close to his sister and sharing too many elements in their lives together. It was a great screenplay and action filled film giving it a 4.5 stars out of 5.

He returned to the Air BnB for an early night of rest and recovery.
