Sumas – Bellingham, Washington
Oisin and Cian were up early for e-school, having cereal/milk/orange juice for breakfast. Cian was up before dad watching the Simpsons. Dad was pretty upset that the world was in chaos, militias threatening to take over capitals on 16th/17th, verge of civil war, and a lot of political unrest. Good news though, there appears to be a vaccine coming out that is a mist instead of a shot? Oisin hates shots so that is good news. It was pouring rain all night and part of the day.
Cian signed into his 2nd-grade zoom class from 9 am to 11:15 am. While Cian was in classes, dad worked on web development, client files, projects, and data management. During lunch, the duo took a break having burritos for lunch, played a game of chess, and some Minecraft. From 1:15 pm -2:20 pm, Cian had his RLC class, then from 3:00 pm -3:30 pm online PE. While Cian was engulfed in his studies, dad sorted out data management nightmares – his Google accounts ran out of storage so the evening after deliveries, he spent reorganizing data. Oisin had struggled through the day fighting off lethargy, whilst Cian was bursting in energy. After school, the duo hit Bellingham for gig work, doing Grubhubh deliveries from 4:30 pm – 6:30/7:30-9:30 pm. Cian was playing with gold foil in the car. They pit stopped at Starbucks for the Venti Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappucinos, got groceries at Grocery Outlet, and grabbed dinner to go from Panda Express – Cian his usual Orange Chicken kid’s meal, dad his honey walnut shrimp with fried rice. The late shift slammed with busy, but decent pay average of 27/hr before expenses (gas, wear-tear, commute). Cian high energy, dad lost energy. Once home, the duo settled into some Minecraft gaming, and after Cian fell asleep, dad was hacking out on the computer data, client work, and projects until 3 am.

In the News: Civil unrest, political upheavals, debates whether or not to impeach Donald Trump a 2nd time. It’s only nine days before he leaves office. The Senate has the power to remove him from office and prevent him from holding office in the future. This could be a good thing. His incitement of the riots storming the capitol, his attempts to reverse election results, and the fact that he rejects the basic foundations of the American government are enough to get rid of him. He will most likely re-run in 2024 as he still retains popularity with the Republican votes. The Virus is still in the spotlight, although distracted with Trump drama. Most of the elite medical centers at Harvard, Columbia, NYU have inoculated their employees and others who don’t qualify yet for the initial round of vaccinations. Apparently, sperm banks are running low on supplies due to the pandemic. Target of all 65 years old and older to be vaccinated first. The search continues for over 60 passengers from Saturday’s Boeing 737-500 crash.
