On December 11, 2025 while impacted by the Nooksack River flood of 2025 … we watched as our building on 2nd street became its own island, completely surrounded by flood waters. Soon enough, wildlife began to scurry to the island for refuge, the most of which were bunnies. It was heartbreaking to see them struggle, but they all seemed to make it ashore.
