Sumas – Bellingham, Washington
It rained heavily overnight, with threatening flooding. High winds swirled around the building, throwing patio furniture astray. A lost chair pillow that Oisin found in the parking lot. Oisin and Cian were up early as Cian wanted to play some Minecraft before e-school. The Duo played for 20 minutes and then dad made french toast, bacon, and orange juice for breakfast. As Cian signed into his 2nd-grade e-class, Dad worked on web client projects, data management, and bookkeeping. For lunch, the duo had Orange Chicken and rice. Then Cian did his RLC and Library classes, while dad continued on the development grind.
After school, the team went into Bellingham for their 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm shift. They treated themselves to an energy boost of a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappucino. After the shift, they headed home. They had burgers for dinner, then played some Minecraft. After Cian was in bed, dad worked on client work until 1 am, fighting off exhaustion as it was a rough day.
