The duo was up early for e-school. Cian worked on his 2nd-grade class from 9 am to 10:15 am, and dad did web development for clients. Cian did his IEP lessons, and over lunch, they walked to City Hall to pay their electric bill and hit the post office. During this, Cian dressed up as a military soldier and played around with Dad. Dad contemplated world events – Biden had his inauguration today and Trump peacefully left office. Dad investigated health insurance options – he had lost his current coverage at the end of the year, no longer free they tried to charge him over $500/month – too much for him to pay. All because he hadn’t filed taxes. He found a new plan, re-established coverage, and re-approved with the tax plan. He taught a client how to use Skype, created a tutorial for her, and after phone tag instructed her in its use. More vlogs and blogging while Cian finished up school doing 2:15 pm – 3 pm speech class, and 3:00-3:30 pm physical education. Dad published January 1st to 3rd blog posts. Beef chimichangas and lemonade for lunch, dad was already exhausted. He tried to caffeinate up by drinking the Cub Chai he got discounted at Grocery Outlet. His views on it were “meh”, and Cian outright hated it. Not a replacement for Tazo chai. Dad investigated making his own concentrated version of his fairy chai brew. They drove into Bellingham to do their Grubhub shift from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm. It was overcast, quiet, and basic. No drama in the news anymore. No more Trump flags flying in people’s yards. It felt good. Maybe a peaceful nation again? They continued their daily grind, and returned home by 8 pm. The duo watched Disenchantment, which was their overall opinion. Cian wanted to watch castaway, so they watched that long movie, well past bedtime, and finished by 11 pm. They were exhausted.
