Dad was still stressed about world affairs, he did manage to catch up on some sleep. Dad was a bit confused during the morning, not remembering which day it was. Oisin and Cian slept in until just before class was to start. Oisin made duck egg omelets, toast, bacon, fresh fruit, and orange juice for breakfast. More distressing news in the world. Cian started his 9 am – 11:15 am 2nd-grade class and dad caught up on bookkeeping, accounting, blogs, vlogs, and client work during the class. Cian had his speech class from 11:15 am – 11:30 am. They had lunch together – quick burritos and lemonade. Then Cian resumed classes, doing his RCL class and final chorus from 3 pm – 3:30 pm.
After school, the duo headed into Bellingham for their 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm shift. The skies were clear in spots and overcast in others, no rain, very dry. En route, they pit stopped at the post office to see if the capital 1st credit card arrived. It didn’t, the third attempt to send it and not received. Oisin spent an hour on the phone disputing the annual fee for a credit card he didn’t have, they wouldn’t let up, claiming he had to pay. Total scam. Deliveries went alright, $73 for 3.5 hours … they got to play in the park, do Starbucks, and read library books while awaiting orders. The last delivery took them to Lynden so they hung out on the boundaries of the delivery area, and got no requests. They didn’t want to drive back to Bham unless a good offer and waste gas. They pit stopped at Safeway grabbing a grilled chicken for dinner. Dad caught up with friends on the phone. Oisin and Cian played another couple of games of Minecraft Dungeons. After Cian went to sleep, dad watched Insurgence on Netflix and called it a night.

The Capitol is still on lockdown with the National Guard troops lined up in the halls of the Capitol, members of Congress walking through metal detectors on the fear that some Republicans would bring guns to the House floor. Trump was labeled a danger to the country. FBI warned police nationwide to be on high alert before Biden’s inauguration. Airbnb canceled all reservations around Washington next week refunding guests and reimbursing hosts. World Health Organization arrived in Wuhan to investigate the source of the virus, but Chinese authorities barred two of the scientists because of positive antibody tests.
