Indiana – Illinois – Wisconsin
Early to rise, the adventurers hit the road entering into Indiana. Driving along the highway, they saw bumper-to-bumper traffic, luckily in the opposite direction they were traveling along Interstate 65 North. Lots of corn fields in Indiana they noticed. Interesting parallel they saw were circular forested areas in the middle of the fields, which are common in their homeland of Ireland (as well as England) which there are ring or faerie forts. They however did not have an answer to what they were. The billowing clouds provided more oracles and omens, telling tales of the past and future. Wind energy blades twirling along the horizon, the delvers felt immersed in the Midwestern landscape. As they approached Crown Point, Indiana, they went to the Tequila’s restaurant downtown to meet Sir Thomas Leaf’s older days friend Lady Amanda. The food was delicious they thought. Homemade guacamole made at their table for the chips and salsa. After great conversations and catching up, the explorers headed back onto the Interstate driving on into and through Chicago. The traffic was obnoxious and dangerous they thought. As the urban concrete jungle started to disintegrate, they crossed the state border into Wisconsin on their way to visit their good friends Lady Kait and Sir Theo. They made their way into Milwaukee to the homestead of their hosts. At Kait and Theo’s, they were greeted by the family, kids, great conversation, and lots of baby discussions. A wonderful vegetarian feast awaited them with peanut sauce for dinner. Rest and relaxation was had that evening, as Prince Cian enjoyed playing with his extended family and heading off to sleep for the night.
