* Milwaukee, Wisconsin to La Crosse, South Dakota *
The adventurers stayed with Sir Thomas Leaf’s former roommate of the Hanta Haus in Seattle’s warehouse district. That morning, Lady Kait treated them to a big bowl of oatmeal sweetened with pure maple syrup. Sir Thomas Leaf’s sugar-tooth was quite pleased. They had fun with the kids, gifting them some fairy costume accessories and wings, trading baby stuff for Tree Leaves’ stuff. Sir Thomas Leaf worked a bit on the RV getting it ready for departure. They were able to hit the highways by 2 pm, but with lack of time to visit their electrician friend from Starwood, for unfortunately, they were on a tight schedule getting to Faerieworlds in time to set up their vending booth. They pit stopped at Trader Joe’s for supplies and sundries, but ran into a dilemma of where to park the RV/ vardo. They stuffed it into a tight regular car space, hanging out a block away, and asked a local policeman if they were OK – he said he was fine with it. It was a bit of a juggling scene carrying the groceries a block away with young child in arms. Alot of traffic awaited them as they left Milwaukee. Tons of construction projects, wreck-less drivers, and bumper to bumper incidents. They finally made their way to Madison, stopping for a few hours to do laundry. They had accumulated over 7 large trash bags of dirty clothes, fabric, tapestries, and bedding. That evening, they drove on through the night, spectated by the thousands of dancing fireflies along the road side to light their path. They drove onwards until 1 am, stopping at a rest area near La Crosse, South Dakota for the night. Well needed rest was had by the delvers.
