Klamath Falls-Bonanza, Oregon
Early to rise at the Days Inn located at Klamath Falls, Sir Thomas crept out of the hotel room hoping not to awake Lady Etain and the Prince letting them sleep. Lady Etain made Sir Thomas a sack lunch which he was forever grateful for. He went and met the crew in the dining room having the breakfast buffet with the crew. They then headed out to Bryant Mountain and 2nd Surrender the work they’d be doing.
As they crossed the survey area of scrublands, juniper fields, and rocky crags, they stopped a few times to admire the stunning views. They found a few lithic scatters but not much more in the fields today. As they headed back to the hotel, all were pretty weary so they stumbled up the stairs to their room. Sir Thomas was excited to see his bride Lady Etain and the Prince. They caught up on the day and made dinner.
In the news today Sir Thomas was disheartened by presidential candidate Donald Trump’s victories and what the fate of America would become. Most of his friends assured him there was no chance the monkey could win. The joker flaunts his wealth and seems to win over aggrieved working class voters. They lit the Olympic torch in Greece this morning starting the 2016 Summer games in Brazil. Reports that life expectancy declined in the U.S. while Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 90th birthday. While Houston was recovering from its flooding, threats of extremely high risks of dams breaking became its next issue. Obama met with Arab leaders in Saudi Arabia for tense talks. Reports of Cubans fleeing to the U.S. is in an increase. More info: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/this-morning-from-cbs-news-april-21-2016/.
