Los Angeles and exploring the Inland Empire, California

The explorers awoke early to a cold morning in the shadow of downtown Los Angeles as they visited family in Echoe Park. The cousin Princes – Cian the Prince of Endurance and Winter the Prince of Chaos played toy trains and cars all morning. Family catching up was enjoyed as they packed up for their journey eastward into the Inland Empire. As farewells were had, the adventurers headed east on Interstate 10 to the Inland Empire, fighting bumper to bumper traffic, causing a whirlwind of memories for Sir Thomas Leaf when he used to live in these parts and experienced first hand his first pileup. Paranoid of such happening again, his flashers went off anytime the traffic stood still. Pitstopped for gas and ice, the explorers soon began exploring various parts of the Empire from Chino, to San Bernandino, Riverside to Redlands, resting for the night at the Redlands Motel 6. Sir Thomas Leaf later that evening met up with colleagues to talk about new expedition projects for the future over dinner at Isabella’s Italian Restaurant. Company was grand, dinner was delicious. Afterwards some errands were had and the adventurers a good night’s sleep.
