Young Faerie Prince Cian not so ready for his journey to Faerie

Early to rise, the adventurers were soon to take young Faerie prince Cian back to the Faerie Realm. It would be a several hour journey, driving the vardo caravan through the Catskills, and on into the portal appearing as the New York Faerie Festival. With some Lentil Chips to fuel him, Sir Leaf drove onwards through the mountains, with a few rest area pitstops involving berry pie and Coconut Water. Young Cian was in good spirits as he talked about the trip with his teddy bear. Rain clouds and wet weather met them along the journey giving the omen of a messy festival to expect. That’s exactly what welcomed there as they pulled into the slippery muddy entrance and was directed up a side road to go park in the parking field where they’d have to be lonesome campers in their RV there as they didn’t think the RV/vardo could make it down into the main camping field where other campers were. Disappointing at first, it made the best sense once they saw how bad and underwater some of those fields were.

It took just before dark to get parked and setup, with Lady Etain exhausted. Sir Leaf took young Faerie Prince Cian into the realm, and down the trodden path past the serpent lady, following a wizard, down into the merchant village. They met pixies, sprites, goblins, trolls, orcs, and mermaids. It was quite a nice setting.

They walked down the the main gates, through art areas, visited vendors, visited the Faerie royal court, splashed in the river, visited the trolls and gave him gold to cross the bridge, met the Tooth Fairy who was quite bloody, and watched some gnomes play on stage. Back to the Vardo they made dinner and rested to build up energy for the next day. It was still wet and cold and the wee one needed his rest.
