After a bit of a sleep in, the adventuring duo slept in, played with Legos and Fortnite figurines, then had “Oreo O’s” cereal for breakfast washed down with Orange Juice. They packed up the car, ventured into the bright sunny day stretched out before them, and headed on into Ferndale, Fairhaven, and Bellingham to do deliveries.
The weather was a pleasant surprise compared to the usual rainy drab. Oisin was a little stressed as he was waiting for funds to be deposited into his account. They drove on into Burlington and used their free movies for the week through the AMC A-List to see “Fantasy Island”. Dad had a free movie, they were out of free tickets for Cian, so was taking advantage of the usual AMC Tuesdays $5 ticket deal. It, however, has increased to $6 now. As Oisin logged into Grubhub he realized that he now is back to Premiere status meaning he is the pool to get the first selection of shifts for the week. Not that it matters much as of late hasn’t been able to get any hours. Enroute to Burlington … Oisin and Cian took a walk along the Nooksack River by the Tubing drop-offs in Acme, Washington.
In Burlington, the duo uses their AMC A-List pass to see Fantasy Island (PG-13:2020 – 4-star rating). It was an interesting twist as to the old tv show, and Blumhouse production with its twisted mentality and scare factor. After the movies, they headed off to Bellingham to do deliveries. They grabbed a late lunch / early dinner at Pizza’azza and Cian learns the economics of a Pizza Pie. They signed up for the loyalty points and got awarded a free ice cream sandwich. After pizza, they then headed over to Arne Hannah Recreation Center for a swim using their last 2 for 1 pass they had. Cian did the high diving board and water slide. They both dove for coins. Afterward, they did some grocery shopping, grabbed a $2 Rootbeer Float from A&W, and headed back to the house. Oisin tried to do some work but was too exhausted. Cian used some of his delivery funds for a Minecraft world. Dad grumpy and contemplating the ups/downs of life felt sheer exhaustion and passed out before King Cian did.
