Renton – Burlington, Washington
Oisin was up by 5:30 am, then left Fairy Girl’s house to drive down to Renton to pick up King Cian by 6:30 am. They ventured out to Starbucks while waiting for school to start, taking a nap in the car then having breakfast at Starbucks. They arrived at school by 10 am – dad dropped Cian off with his teacher and then headed off for a DoorDash shift while Cian was at school. Oisin was experiencing sheer exhaustion. Dad dropped by a Thai restaurant in Kent after deliveries to grab some pad thai for lunch.
The 10:30-1:30 shift that Oisin did with Doordash was poor pay and not very exciting. Oisin was suffering from exhaustion and late nights, parent drain and road-burnout. Too many of the dashes were far distances and out of the region. Oisin clocked out and went to the public Library in Renton to print out his WeGoLook materials – identification and accident scene reports for several Looks he had setup photographing cars with acciden damages this weekend when Cian is with his mom. He planned out the weekend schedule and found the next few days will be very busy. He had WiFi funding issues and meetup time dilemmas. Dad picked up Cian from school – the King was hungry so they dropped by Wendy’s drive-thru getting the 4 for 4 deal – as apparently Cian doesn’t eat much of the cafeteria school selections. They don’t make what he likes so always hungry after school.
After dropping off Cian with his mom, Dad avoided rush hour by using his AMC A-List to see his weekly 2 of 3 free movies – “Bad Boys for Life” (4.5 stars out of 5). He continued north and decided to spend the night at the rest area outside of Burlington as he had a Look schedule there early in the morning and made no sense to drive all the way to Maple Falls and drive an hour each-way trip to go do it. He was so exhausted he passed out quickly. Missing his son he drifted into dreamland.
