08.11.95 City to Country House, Flirtations

Princess Breanna and Sir Thomas awoke around 7 am to get ready for school – the Princess headed off to Kate Sullivan Elementary down the road from their rental house on Brevard Street. Sir Thomas gave her a loving hug and kissed her goodbye, wishing her a good day. She didn’t care too much for her classmates as there was a girl who would bully her on occasion at the swing sets. Dad told her to walk away.

Dad pulled in a full day analyzing pottery shards, faunal remains, and lithics at the National Park Service Southeastern Archaeological Center. He had a graduate class in the Social Services department and then was time to head home. He picked up the Princess and they checked the mail, happy to receive a letter from Lady Hena. Sir Thomas had developed an unstated crush on her, but he thought she suspected, as her going away party at Lord Teddy’s and swimming in the sinks it was pretty obvious. But she was still with Sir Jason, and he respected the relationship boundaries and commitment, not ever letting her know his interest in her.

Sir Thomas picked up Princess Breanna and they headed to their country house for the weekend where they had the Fairy Circle and Druid Grove, often hosting events for the Tree Leaves’ Folk Fellowship, Wakulla Cypress Grove, and the Free Spirit Coven.

Reading Lady Hena’s melted Sir Thomas’ soul, tingling sensations of warmth, as he knew she was his muse. He was a bit confused as prophecy stated that he would end up with a soul mate from the Pacific Northwest, a woman from Ireland, and a woman from France. Lady Hena didn’t fit any of those profiles so he dismissed his crush as nonsense and just enjoyed the best friendship they were forming.

That night Sir Thomas and Princess Breanna had a campfire in the circle, looked up at the stars, and he told her stories around the fire circle. It was a warm and enchanting evening. They made Mac n’ cheese and green beans for dinner, topped off with lemonade. After the Princess went to sleep, he worked on his graduate school work until he passed out. Such was common for these evenings.

Lady Hena was staying with her friends Joan and David a bit bored and lacking excitement in her life. She was a bit self-conscious and lonely, Sir Thomas felt for her, but she was becoming inspired by new recipes and lifestyle. She was struggling with society’s repression of her smoking and that her cats had to live on the porch since her housemates were allergic. She stated she missed Sir Thomas a lot, and that warmed his heart. He was really inspired by her, but he hid his crush focusing on best friendship. She mentioned how the two of them were still planning on traveling around the world together, yet wasn’t sure how or what would happen with her cats since Sir Thomas was severely allergic. They were to become the best travel mates. She said we could stay with her ex-boyfriend in Blackpool England when we visited there and was wondering how Princess Breanna would enjoy travels. She thought Breanna would love to travel, but truth be told, the Princess often just wanted to stay home and be a home-body.

Little did Sir Thomas know that a year from this date, he would be married to Lady Autumn.
