Lothlorien Nature Sanctuary (Bloomington, Indiana)
The merchants woke up frozen as temperature got down to the 40’s last night. Their Vardo-RV was not level and caused madness with the three of them co-sleeping on a small couch bed as the RV’s former mattress was too uncomfortable in the master area and with the slant, too crunched. The Prince of Endurance was super bundled last night to keep him warm – the parents being extra cautious as he was so young. Since he’s a newborn with this being his first festival and camping experience they wanted to be careful. Sir Thomas Leaf was up early and took a shower in the co-ed shower court. He was the only one there. He pondered how good it was to have a hot shower – although the showers took a bit to get hot. Then on to the opening of the booth and setting up of shop he went. He tried out a new display pattern erected this morning – placing the soaps up front with the Pirate Relief treasures so that shower goers in need of soap can get some. Few people wandered in with no morning sales. A group came by and asked if they were using the campfire pit behind the Tree Leaves’ Oracle booth and asked if they could use it to make breakfast – Sir Thomas Leaf told them that it was good to go.

Sir Thomas Leaf swang on the hammock with prince Cian, shortly after two girls came up to admire the young prince and unfortunately as they did the hammock snapped and Sir Thomas Leaf and the Prince of Endurance fell to the ground – but all good, no injuries just a stunned but for Leaf. One of the girls turned out to be a doula while the other woman was seven months pregnant with a boy – also with some Irish heritage and Irish namesake for the child. The adventurers and the women all connected well and talked about Etain’s birthing experience and healing techniques. The day turned out wonderful as the ground warmed up and the air was nice. The merchants used the fire to make salmon patties, turkey burgers, and baked beans for lunch which they felt was very well needed. They cooked over the fire. Coming into the booth was a mystical sacral healer named Nicole who was also Fae – Maeve, of the Rainbow Tribe. They had some great chatting and discussions. That afternoon the stage across from them had several shows for them to watch such as juggling, magic tricks, and puppetry. Very entertaining they thought. As evening came the adventurers continued selling into the darkness. There were not many sales towards dark, and after dark there was none. Drumming was wild and crazy from the thunder dome as they could hear and feel the energy weaving down the valley. They settled in for the evening as Lady Etain was feeling ill. They had tomato soup, bread, and tuna fish sandwiches for dinner. Sir Thomas Leaf tried to open a bottle of wine, but the neck broke, making it too risky to try to drink, so laid waste. Lady Etain became really ill after dinner, some sort of stomach bug or food poisoning, so the explorers never did make it to the fire circle as they were in bed and asleep by midnight.
