03.08.16: Maryhill to Ellensburg

After a good night’s sleep at the Motor Lodge, the adventurers set off for the North. Driving along the Columbia River on I-84, they crossed over by Maryhill, and stopped at Maryhill State Park for a swim, then a look around at the American Stonehenge before working their way north towards Soap Lake, Washington. They dropped in for gas at the Pilot Travel Center and worked their way north on highway 97 towards Yakima, onto I-82 towards Ellensburg. They stopped for the night to camp just outside the Wanapum State Park just outside the Gingko Petrified Forest State Park.
