Each day became a ritualized routine for Sir Thomas Leaf as he crawled out of bed at Lady Allison’s, assisted with Princess Astranna for school (and some days pickup), headed onto base for archaeological survey, cataloguing, process ArcGIS and Trimble files, mapping sites, archiving, curation, and management of collections into Past Perfect software. He daily dealt with comments from soldiers about his intriguing van … the Isis Adventure Thru Time. He packed up boxes and began storing them into his RV that was parked into storage, and began preparing for his adventure Down Under and Across the Great Pond. It was a time of getting rid of things, condensing, and figuring out what to keep for the future as he did not know where he would be hanging his hat for the next several years or more. His ultimate goal was to move to Europe and begin the new chapters of his life overseas. He spent many afternoons and evenings clearing out the Tree Leaves Vardo condensing it into a long term storage unit.
It was quite a bit for Sir Thomas to process, the minimizing his life and condensing his many belongings to fit within just his RV – the Tree Leaves Vardo, and his Van – Isis Adventure thru Time. His goal, was to own only that which would fit in these two vehicles – no storage units, no rentals, no yards, except for which these would be parked. It was an achievement he successfully achieved by his departure to the lands down under.
Sir Thomas’ life was now minimalist.
