We didn’t rise as early as we had hoped, My love overslept … I got out of bed and caught up on wifi. Breakfast with the brother-in-law and we were soon given directions to a Mott and St. Kevin’s Holy Well. We were off on the road and stopped for a photograph of the Mott, and then pitstopped at the Holy Well. I made a petition on the wishing tree as well as collecting some of the magical well water. We walked around the graveyard across the road, perusing early Christian markings and investigating some unique trees.

After the graveyard, we headed through Kells, admired a standing stone in a farmer’s field, and took a picture of the Kells High Cross. As the day was already late, we pretty much headed on through County Meath and back to Dublin, taking the back roads so as to avoid the tolls. Here the electronic tolls charge your plate automatically and you have to pay online by 3 pm the next day or incur late charges. We’ve already been taxed too heavily over the last couple months of forgetting to log online and pay the toll tax.

Bray Beach

Bray Beach

We were soon back into Dublin and made our way back to our flat. Pitstop at home to grab some essentials and we were off again to Bray Beach for a nice walk (and climb) on the beach. Good to get a daily breath of ocean air. After exploring the beach, we headed over to the square and got some 99’s … this place had unique flavoring 99’s … so I got a pistachio 99 while Eadaoin got a lemon.

Then off to Starbucks at Blanchardstown shopping complex so I could get some blogging and writing accomplished. The Starbucks there didn’t have many at the later ones with outlets so didn’t stay too long. We then went home for a early evening watching some films and shows. Long day.
