Dublin, Ireland
We overslept once again, but not as bad as we had been doing in the latter half of 2011. Got in touch with Faerie Moe, and finally coordinated a catchup session later for the evening. Eadaoin had quite a bit of chores to do, so we drove down to Trinity College after lunch and “thought” we were taking part of the discounted half-price New Year’s special parking (turns out they lied and charged us full price).
I went to Starbucks, Eadaoin went on shopping and tackling chores. Didn’t get much done over chai n’ wifi as was bogged down with financial concerns about how to continue living in Ireland. TIme is almost up as we will have to head back to America and reset my visa, and no knowledge of when I can afford to come back. Will probably have to grab a quick job back into the states to build up funds to return.
Moe showed up late afternoon and we had an amazing time catching up with things. Afterwards, Eadaoin came and grabbed me, we headed down to Dunleary Beach for a walk and a talk to try to figure out what to do. Afterwards, went for a evening movie of Mission Impossible: The Ghost Protocol which was pretty good. It got out just before midnight. We got a bit lost heading home to our flat, and hungry stopped off at Little Ass Burrito in Rathmines. Had a yummy sweet potato stuffed burrito and chicken salsa nachos with guacamole and sour cream. Yum. Home … we pretty much just passed out.
