A quiet friday, I met Brian down below in the La Quinta Inn & Suites hotel parking lot after the breakfast buffet. We were off to the Air Force Academy to conduct our Archaeological Pedestrian survey, covering acres and miles for compliance. After work, I had a quick swim in the pool and rest in the hot tub, then walked next door to the Urban Tandoor Indian restaurant to meet my good friend Brigid for dinner.
Drinks and conversations, next to robots serving us our food, it was a great time catching up. The spiced Chai drink was tasty, as was the food. Keeping the evening simple, afterwards I headed over to the AMC Theater at the mall to watch a weekly movie as a member of the A-List. Tomorrow would be an early morning back in the sun, doing the grind, looking for cultural remains.
