In today’s video blog series, Sir Oisin Rhymour Leif McGowan starts off with a 1 minute clip highlighting that he received some OnDemand Gig economy work doing a few deliveries after numerous hours planted in the Ferndale Starbucks doing Chai n’ WiFi, client web work, fixing links from the NetRegistry Domain hostage situation earlier this month, and his daily grind.

Sir Oisin wakes up for his daily grind making a breakfast of duck eggs scrambled with spinach and green curry, alongside bacon, and drowned down by a glass of orange juice. He grabs his shower, trims his beard, loads up the car, and takes off to the Ferndale public library to print out the Confidential document he is to deliver for WeGoLook. Unfortunately he has left behind his multiple printers in Colorado. The commute from the woods takes roughly 45 minute through woods, farmyards, vineyards, and pastures. The library is especially helpful, granting him a visitor pass to print out his documents at 10 cents each, then while he was there he grabbed a library card account so next visit would be more streamlined. Double-dipping OnDemand app schedule windows, he sped northeast out of the boundary area of one to find the client for the other. A bit lost, he finally found the house. The targets were hanging out in front of their house. He asked the man if he was so-n-so, he was, handed him the document and then taking awkward photographs of them, the front of the house, the car past due, other vehicle, mailbox, etc. It was very uncomfortable doing that Oisin thought while the resident watched him. He then raced back to Ferndale to login for on demand app work. There was none, although he was being paid minimum $12/hour wage for being on call with one of them. He spent over 4 hours working in the morning on client websites, video blogging, and research to the majesty of a Chai Creme Frappacino and a venti water for hydration.

Sir Oisin spends the morning and afternoon doing web development at Starbucks, catching up with video blogs, and fixing links on Naiads.org. He finally gets an order from Lila’s Mexican in Bellingham, followed by a Red Robin, then a Vitality Bowl pickup, repeating a Red Robin delivery again which dumps him back up in Ferndale. He nestles back into Starbucks continuing with web design and fixing links on his sites from the domain hostage damage earlier in the year. As Starbucks closes at 8 pm, with there being still no more on demand work, so he was paid just to be on call being able to getting his personal and business work done. He dropped by O’Reilly’s to get an oil filter, coolant, and stuff needing to do an oil change tomorrow, or so the plans would be. Dropping into Grocery Outlet to grab some apple sauce for his cold pork loin pieces for an dinner snack he sets off to call Prince Cian to wish him a goodnight’s sleep and see how school went. Then the daily commute 45 minutes back into the mountains for the night. His roommate was out so no catching up, then he settled down to head up some Trader Joe’s Turkey meatloaf for dinner and putting a Netflix flick on to rest and relax. He would up falling asleep to Apocalypse Island – a stupid, kitchy, b-rate film.
