It was an uncomfortable sleep as Oisin had taken a five hour nap in his car outside the Marysville Rest Area along I-5 from 12:40 am until 5 am. He then awoke early to drive south to Renton, fighting Seattle traffic and making his way to pick up his son King Cian. Doing gig-economy at-will work so he can spend as much time as he can with his son. Oisin picks up Cian at 6:30 am to have breakfast outside the Benson Hill Starbucks making their own croissants and Chai from the car kitchen since there was no budget for buying anything … using the Starbucks wifi to do their thing … and Cian being off school for the holiday.

Oisin and Cian do gig work – Dashing, Web Dev, Client work, and Looks. One of the deliveries with Doordash took them into an elderly home. Cian was curious as to why the elderly at the nursing home paid so much attention to him. As they were exiting the parking lot of the nursing home there was a big bang as Oisin realized his car got hung up on the curb – ouch! Looking over for damage, he realized how just bad his bald tires were. That became one of the priorities for the day. He scraped together enough funds from the day’s deliveries to go to Darwin Auto and get them to swap out/rotate his back tires to the front – none of the professional tire places would touch it due to liability, but Darwin Auto in Renton would. It was soo helpful. They took a break at Coulon beach along Lake Washington – hiking along the paths, playing nerf gun battles, spying on the geese, seeing a turtle, and running from zombies.

Oisin and Cian finish up their hike looking for zombie geese and creatures along the shoreline of Lake Washington. They run back to the Air BnB for a rest then meetup with Mom doing some shopping at Fred Meyers and WinCo. Poor King Cian was so exhausted from the day’s activities, he passed out in the shopping cart at WinCo. Dad dropped Cian and Etain off at her house, then headed back to the Air BnB – dropping by Uwijimaya to grab roast duck for dinner with thai ice tea, then settled into an evening of web development and finishing watching the series “You”.
