Ft Carson – Pinon Canyon Military Reservation, Colorado
It was another week as usual with Leaf as he headed off to do Archaeological survey and excavations down at Pinon Canyon Manuever Site. It was a long drive from Fort Carson, as a few hours passed, driving through the deserted dirt roads and found his way with the team to Red Rocks Ranch where they would be staying for the week. Isolation – sheer and simple. In order to call loved ones, they had to climb a hill with the Sat phone taking turns connecting.
That evening, Leaf had a dream. It was a prophetic one. It was about a magic ring. A Curse breaker. He had the revelation that someone had cast a curse. He needed to break it. That evening, he began making plans for a trip to the Old World to search for the magic items.
