Rated R – Released 2021 Horror, Supernatural Starring: Patrick Wilson (Ed Warren); Vera Farmiga (Lorraine Warren); Julian Hilliard (David Glatzel); Sarah Catherine Hook (Debbie Glatzel); Keith Arthur Bolden (Seargeant Clay); Ruairi O’Connor (Arne Cheyenne Johnson); and more.
Back into the Conjuring universe, following case files of Ed and Lorraine Warren – the frightening tale of a possession triggered by a witches’ totem, leading to a demon bouncing between victims. Based on the true story where the exorcists fight to save the soul of a young boy. The first time in U.S. history where a murder suspect claims demonic possession for their defense.
Well done and orchestrated, an inspirational tale for those obsessed with the supernatural. Another great creation over the mysteries investigated by Ed and Lorraine Warren. Due to the pandemic, many movies are being released simultaneously at the theaters on streaming services. I got to see this one on my HBO-MAX.

The classic tale explained as Disney explores the origins of the fashion Queen and villain, Cruella de Vil. From a devious child who was two-sided, losing her mother, and becoming an orphan … she teams up with two other kids, discovering her passion and talent of fashion. She discovers the fashion queen was her mother’s killer and sets out revenge on her and her Dalmatians.
Classic Disney with all the bells and whistles. Great special effects, choreography, fashion, and stunning displays. Always a Disney fan never disappointed. Luckily I got to see this one in the theater, during the pandemic as the immunized populace in the United States has allowed theaters to re-open. While there were only a few people in the theater, and we had to remain masked for the whole film, the seemingly dying tradition of movie theaters is still alive.

As the pandemic forced theaters to close, I waited patiently for this one to be released on my Disney subscription for free. They released first on Disney plus for $30. Then it hit the movie theaters, and finally a month later, free for Disney Plus subscribers.

Continuing the saga of “The Grudge” story line, another house is cursed with the vengeful ghost of Asian origin that this time plagues anyone entering the house with a violent death. It begins with a young housewife who murders her family in their home that gets investigated by a single mother young detective. She unwraps the disturbing and haunting details of the crimes and paranormal. She has to save her and son from the demons chasing them down. It was macabre, disturbing, and not at all like the other films of the same name. It was poorly done I thought. I’m glad it was a freebie (well less than a dollar with Regal unlimited since I had to reserve a seat online).
One of my favorite new magicians, Justin Willman … on the Netflix series “Magic for Humans” has yet again never fails to fascinate, astound, and perplex me … and I’m a professional magician. His tricks, his candor, and his wit …. charm, magnetism, and influence. What an amazing entertainer. I really hope this series goes on and on. The series “Magic for Humans” is a Netflix streamed U.S. reality TV show that began August 17, 2018 with season one, composed of 6 episodes with Comedian Magician Justin Willman performing magic tricks up and personal with people in work places, on the street, or at local businesses and parks. The claim is all the magic is done real with no video or camera tricks, nor any after performance editing as “Real People. Real Magic. No Camera Tricks”. Season 2 was just as entertaining and remarkable. Now beginning May 15th, the third season stuns its audiences just like the past 2. Justin isn’t beyond criticism or nay-sayers, as many skeptics claimed the first season used green screens, CGI, camera tricks, and placed actors to accomplish the stunts.
Power Trip: Magic can influence the influencers, and convince people to feel things they don’t. It also teachers children about the power of positive words.
Along the border of Austria and Germany a horrid series of murders with Pagan cult attributes are discovered. A sinister investigator on the Austria side works with the whimsical German investigator to solve the crimes. The drama unfolds with a intricate plot.
So far I’m finding it a fascinating story-line, mysterious plot, and decent acting. The series is well put together and flows well. Surreal cinematography.
