~ Ashland, Oregon ~

A day like all-others the adventurers awoke in their RV at 8 am, made a quick breakfast, packed up the car and drove from the RV park to their shop “The Leaf and Dragon” downtown Ashland. They opened up the shop ready to receive patrons by 10 am. They had a few customers first thing, but from 10:30-noon it was pretty quiet and they wondered why they were open. A hippie girl came in acting pretty suspicious, and wanted to trade the shirt on her back for one of the new dresses on the racks. Sir Thomas was like … “Umm …. no …” After she left, it appears she took another shirt. That was probably the most exciting event of the day. Foot traffic was slow most the day. Sir Thomas and Lady Etain observed more browsers than actual purchases, making times tough for the struggling new shop owners. Sir Thomas invested most of his inheritance into the shop and it was becoming quite apparent that he might never get it back.

Lady Etain took the afternoon off doing errands while Sir Thomas and the Prince remained in the shop vending. When she returned, she watched shop while Sir Thomas and the Prince went to the local water park to play and cool off in the fountains. They kept the shop open until nearly 10 pm hoping for sales, but it wasn’t happening. They called it a night and returned to their RV for a good night’s sleep. This was the drab that was wearing them down and bringing unhappiness to the duo.
