* Starwood Festival XXXIII * Wisteria * Pomeroy * Ohio *

Early to rise and eager to meet up with the first customers, Sir Thomas Leaf rolled off the air mattress while Lady Etain and Prince Cian slept soundly. He got some chai and wifi to check on orders and email, then proceeded to finish setting up shop. He opened up shop sometime after 10 am and got a straggling collection of customers – mainly those checking out the shop and seeing what was available. Most of the attendees were busy setting up camp. Rains came in towards late afternoon. Incense, oils, soaps, herbs, stickers, tapestries, teas, rocks and gems all laid out. The books organized on a new flip out shelf they recently found at a garage sale. Clothing racks set up with new and vintage clothes displayed. Prince Cian bounced in his bouncer as passerby’s flirted with him. The babies his age also came in for a visit. Relaxation and meeting people. The zombie family stickers were a top seller. The event was bustling with everyone coming in and getting their camps set up. We were amongst the few several merchants to be up and ready to go. A woman asked to park behind their RV and the duo said they didn’t care, but turns out, she was supposed to park in the general parking area, and was trying to slip in that she was with their camp. Sir Thomas Leaf did love the fact that with Starwood, merchants could keep their vehicles with their camp which helped in storing valuables albeit, he has never had problems with theft at this particular event.

Sir Thomas Leaf set up his gargoyle anti-theft altar just in case. That day, Sir Thomas Leaf and his Lady Etain walked the merchant streets looking at other wares. They found some sarongs and sarong-dress that suited them fine. That evening, after a meal of veggie burgers, the merchants headed down to the fire circle for some drumming and dancing. Rains came in, so they called it an early night, this night staying in the RV as it had finally dried out.
