~ Fairy Human Relations Congress, Skalitude, Twisp, Washington ~

Day 2 of the festival and our exhausted adventurers were up early to open up the Tree Leaves Oracle booth to meet the faeries, fairies, nature spirits, humans, and devas for yet another magical day at Fairy Human Relations Congress. Good rest and spiritual rejuvenation was felt by Sir Thomas Oisin Leaf as he spent another day at the gateway of a portal between the worlds. Fabulous rituals and great meditations were done throughout the day and Sir Thomas Leaf, Lady Etain, and the Prince of Endurance enjoyed the free very healthy organic vegetarian, vegan, and free range communal meals throughout the day. Meeting new friends, discussing all things fae, dancing in the fields, and frolicking amongst the nature spirits. Sir Thomas Leaf had an opportunity to catch up with Sir Michael after not having seen him for over 10 years since the last time he attended the Congress was sometime between 2001 and 2003. The talented spirits of Orion Foxwood, RJ Stewart, and Michael Spangler filled the day’s workshops as everyone learned how to communicate and network with Nature Spirits, Devas, and entities of the ‘Fairy Realm’. A bit different movement Sir Thomas Leaf felt as opposed to dealing directly with the Sidhe, Faeries, and Tuatha de Danann – relations all in the same. Saturday saw repeat performances and presentations of Friday morning, with added in the afternoon Jacqueline Freeman: “Shrines: Doors to the Fairy World”, Michael Dunning: “21st Century Grail Stream and its Guardians”, David Spangler: “Partnering with the Subtle Worlds: Rules of the Road”, Flora LaRayne and Fransisco: “Blossoming: A Soul’s Longing”, Deborah Koff-Chapin: “Bringing the Subtle Beings into Form Through Touch Drawing”, Shoshana Avree: “The Essence of Existence, Essence of your Soul”, followed by communal lunch, and then
Rj Stewart: “Elizabethan Fairy Magic”, Orion Foxwood: “Clearing the Soul Cage: Cultivating Presence, Clarity and Wonderment”, Saphir Lewis: “Attunement for Powerful Co-Creative Communication”. Ellen Vande Visse: “Gardening with the Joyful Devas and Nature Spirits”, Bridget Wolfe & John Curtis Crawford: “Being in the Other: A New Perspective o Co-Creation”, followed by repeat activities from friday night of yoga, integration, and communal dinner. After dinner was the main Ritual and Fairy/Human Parade, Acousitc Concert in the Lodge with RJ Stewart, Drumming/Dancing/ and Merriment all night long.

Sir Thomas Leaf was bombarded with requests for body painting as he did a tree man, celtic warrior with his new organic clay based paints he’s developing, a branch-like tree spirit, spiral rainbow cosmic patterns, a pan, a satyr, and a faun. The rituals and rites were exciting as connection to the divine and inner worlds were made. The globe was released and danced around the meadows by the fairies, fairies charged at each other like battles but instead of clashing swords met with warm hugs. Drum circles and dancing all night long with mysterious wanderings into the woods at night. It was a remarkable day. Young Prince Cian wandered off on his own (still under the distant watchful eye of his parents) exploring the meadow with the fairies and feeling at home. He was quite the attention piece to many at the festival. A good day was had by all.
