White Salmon, WA
That morning, Sir Thomas was up early with the pliers ready to begin pulling studs out of his snow tires since he couldn’t afford to have it professionally done nor tires replaced. He did it for a few hours and took a break. the Young Prince wanted to help and tried with all his might, but did not have the strength to remove them. Lady Etain did not offer to help as she said it was a man’s job and instead volunteered to do laundry from the trip.
They made sandwiches for lunch and enjoyed the warm weather that was coming over the Gorge and White Salmon river. Still overly cool and overcast, it was quite perfect weather. They helped the Rogue Miles in the garden planting vegetables. Meanwhile the rogues had set up a grow operation in the basement, this nerve-wracked Sir Thomas even though it was ‘legal’ in the state of Washington, it was not something he wanted to be around so quickly sped up their exit strategy. The rogues also informed that the bulk of their stuff needed to go to storage or on the road with them as they would be having a family reunion and campout on the land in a few weeks, and that they couldn’t have any more tenants on the land unless they wanted to be added to the lease. The explorers did not want to be officially added to the lease for another year of the craziness that is this place, so it gave them the motivation to move on. That night they had a barbecque and fire with the rogues. It was a good night.
