Talent, Oregon
Early to rise as the explorers heard the landscapers bustling off to their gigs early in the morning waking the weary travelers around 7 am as they snoozed away in their festival wagon. Solar power fed the laptops and internet as they checked e-mail and proceeded to begin their expedition to find prosperity. They headed in to Sir Deric’s to freshen up and join in on conversation about merchanting, the kingdom of Tenopso, networking, and adventure tales … coffee, cinnamon rolls, and snacks were had before the explorers headed to their warehouse to process through storage, belongings, sundries, and wares to take on their journey. They pitstopped at the Phoenix Farmer’s Market to grab some veggies, fruits, and snacks for the adventure. Onwards they went to their warehouse for several hours of organizing gear, boxes, and tossing away unwanted forgotten treasures. They finally hit the road by 5 to cruise through Ashland, check mail, and get a swim n’ showers in at the YMCA. Prince Cian was impressive with his ability to swim between mom, dad, the steps, and wanting to swim out to deep water on his own – above and below water … a true Piscean mer-child. After a refreshing swim and a nice sauna, showers were had, and the refreshed for their evening journey over the mountains onwards to California. They climbed Mount Ashland and cruised down into California, through the State of Jefferson, through Yreka and into Weed in the shadow of Mount Shasta. They dragged out the grill and Sir Thomas Leaf grilled up asparagus, sweet corn, and boiled up rice noodles to make a bowl of pad thai. The Prince of Endurance ate his entire plate of Roadside Pad Thai. As darkness fell, they cleaned up dishes while Prince Cian cruised around on his fairy mobile. Then the open road awaited as they headed south stopping to sleep for the night outside of Redding. The journey has begun.
