2nd Star Festival 2016, Florence, Oregon
The adventurers awoke to a beach full of mist and fog … slowly dissipating as the sun began to peek through the clouds.
Grilling up some breakfast the trio began their hour long drive to Florence which was only 22 miles away. Traffic, construction, and winding roads made travel slow. The sun was taking grasp of the skies as the adventurers made their way to the booth. Onwards inwards they removed the cloaks to their treasures for the day’s presentation. Many more attendees wandered in and sales picked up by the end of the day. Prince Cian went on various adventures with his friends and alternating walkabouts with his mom and dad while the other watched the booth. Music, games, and fun filled times awaited him as he played with mermaids, pirates, dragons, and other fantastical beings. Some people’s costumes were outstanding. His dad, Sir Thomas Leaf was a silver painted Djinn.

That afternoon as the festival began winding down, the crew began the tedious task of breaking down their booth, packing up their inventory, and saying farewell to their friends and extended family. Good times had by all. Sir Leaf used baby wipes to remove most of his silver paint, and they attempted on their trek up the 101 to stop in the laundromat with showers. Unfortunately one of the laundromats had their showers out of service, and the second one had a line of 6 people waiting. Sir Leaf decided he’d just jump into the ocean when he got back. Alas, though – too tired, and a very cold coast. They hung out on the beach and decided to stay another night on the beach. They had dinner and relaxed to a solar powered movie to call it a night. Good times.
