A Sheepherder’s Wagon
There is an excellent donated wagon in Fossil, Oregon. The front of the school that was built in the 1930s and last used in 1984 containing all the original equipment used by the sheepherder. “This wagon was home to the sheepherder and his dogs twelve months of the year. Moved as the sheep followed the grass the herder followed the sheep and the wagon followed the herd.” It was donated by the Steiwer Family.
