A great film with a blast from the past in the Nixon era covering a pre-Wiki-Leaks drama and coming out of government secrets and cover-ups over the Vietnam War. The controversy spanned over four presidencies continuing to put soldiers at risk and death because of it. When the secret files were released to the Times and the Washington Post, the ordeal has Nixon taking the newspapers to the Supreme Court, fighting for the rights of freedom of the Press. The fight was unprecedented and a landmark in history for the U.S.A.’s first woman newspaper publisher. I thought it was very well done, informative, and great roles for Hanks and Streep who worked well together. A must-see. Eye-opening and awakening.
