🌙 The Dream of the Seven Beings
One night, in his pre-adult youth, Sir Tom dreamt of a council of seven luminous beings: robed in white, radiant yet serene. They seemed both male and female, both elven and human, their faces gentle but strange: each had eyes and a nose, yet no mouths.
Later in life, in his late 40s, while on an expedition to Australia, and then later at the UFO Museum in Roswell, New Mexico, he would learn of the Wandjina … the ancient, mouthless sky beings of Aboriginal lore; and wonder if these were the same visitors who came to him that night.
In the dream, they stood before him as if in the flesh, though their words came not from sound but from thought itself … a communion of mind and spirit.
They invited him to ask anything he wished: about origins, destiny, and the path that lay before him. And when he did, their answers astonished him … clear as spoken language, yet resonating deep within his consciousness like waves in still water.
Before they vanished into the light, they offered him a glimpse of three great loves that would shape his future:
- A French woman, whose affection would awaken his spirit and expand his perception of the world.
- An Irish bride, with whom he would live out a mythic cycle of legend and loss.
- And finally, a Northwest Bride, a Faerie Queen akin to Niamh of the ancient tales … destined to carry him to the Land of Fae, from which few ever return. (She was either from the Pacific Northwest or lived there)
The dream lingered long after dawn, an echo through the years … the beginning of a prophecy that would unfold across the mythic chapters of his life.
