12.29.14: Errands around Cork City

Having fun in Ballyseedy Home and Gardens:  in Carrigtwohill. Monday, 29 December 2014: Chronicles Expedition to Cork

Monday, 29 December 2014:
Cork City, Co. Cork, Ireland

Early to rising, the adventurers were on their road to recovery. Jet lag has finally started to round itself out in their daily schedules, although they were still arising very early. Early to depart, they headed off with the Queen to Carrigtwohill (Co. Cork, Ireland) for a late breakfast/early lunch at Ballyseedy Home and Gardens. They passed the Movie Junction, a favorite pitstop of Sir Thomas Leaf and Lady Etain for watching films.

While Lady Etain and her mom were shopping, Sir Thomas Leaf took the young Prince of Endurance out back in the garden center to play with the rabbits, chickens, and other fowl, exploring the cement faeries and trolls, cars, and other modern concrete yard art. Then inwards they went for a nice lunch with tea, lemonade, quiche, potato salad, soups, and other salads.

Prince Cian wandered around the kid’s area drawing on the chalkboard and wanting badly to tear open the packaged toy trucks with father in tow saying “No!”. Afterward, they headed through Cork City as a back way around to Douglas and the family estate in Monkstown. Then an evening of rest and recovery to a family dinner of salmon, mushy peas, mashed potatoes, and veggies with a nightcap for the evening. Rest was had as the adventurers were still in recovery.
