Worked until 4:30 am on the shopping carts and accounting for Pirate Relief, Tree Leaves’ Oracle, and Technogypsie Productions. I ran an update on the Cart Press software and it crashed, corrupted and killed my carts. It was so frustrating. Took several hours to restore them so didn’t lose 80+ hours of data entry. Thanks to support bulletin boards. Finally to sleep from 4:30 to 7:30, up fully by 8 am, and hit the road by 8:30 to get to mom’s by 9. Breakfast and talk with the therapist, them changing her into street clothes and getting her into the wheelchair, for auto transport to the doctor’s by 9:15. Waited in the waiting room for a long time with lots of sick elderly, wondering if it isn’t good for Eadaoin to be in there pregnant. But seems like most of those were suffering from cancer and chemotherapy. Doctor’s appoint by 10:30, finished with Doctor by 12:30. Doctor is worried, though hemoglobin count was up to 11 and better than what he expected (8 1/2), that she has lost use of hands, neck worse, and her hands are very hot which can be symptomatic of infection or disease. Her energy level was real bad. He prescribed her flexerol 3x a day as a muscle relaxer, lasix 2x a day as a diuretic and still no treatment plan outside of transfusions and not to change asymmetric treatment. Says had a weak immune system, hand not getting better, and swelling. One possible treatment was plateles transfusions, but they only last a day or tow, and are very challenging, but once making the transfusions that when the antibodies start fighting them, will be hard to find platelets to match her tissue type. Not to do unless the platelettes get progressively low or bleeding. Need to get fluid out of tissue. feels she looks worse than last friday. Thinks she will be in rehab for a few weeks, but it will be up to the physician at the rehab center when she is ready to go and make that call. Worried about her. Setup a doctor’s appointment for next monday. Took awhile for transport to come, got back to the center and as soon as she entered they wanted to weigh her, test her sugar levels (over 211), give her a insulin shot, her medications, and then got her lunch. Mom was really picky eating, it was really hard getting food down her. She only ate 1/8 of the plate. Really picky eating. Not good. She won’t take any of the food they are giving her. She wanted to nap soon after. We went home, and got exhausted. We passed out and missed Eadaoin’s pre-natal yoga and swim. We were sooo exhausted. Headed over by 7 pm, to visit mom and brought her sugar free jello as a treat. Billy and Jackie were there. Read her a letter from Mona and Billy. She was out of it. While Bill and Jackie went home exhausted, we got her nurses to take her to the bathroom and change clothes for night, got her settled in to sleep. Went to Publix and did some late night grocery shopping. Home by 11. Long day. Doing ritual soon for healing mom – got her permission and figured do some candle magic as the new moon is starting and moon waxing to full on this phase.
