White Salmon, WA – Hood River, Oregon

Another morning of pulling studs from the tires, Sir Thomas Leaf was up bright and early before the Prince and his bride Lady Etain. When the Prince awoke he was curious where daddy was and headed up the footpath from the Cliff Hanger to go assist him in pulling out studs.

Sir Thomas made up some oatmeal for the family and they washed it down with orange juice. They got their gear ready to go and headed on into town. Down through White Salmon, across the Hood River bridge, with a bathroom pit stop at the White Salmon welcome center. The bridge was oddly very congested this morning. After paying the toll they drove over to Walmart. The explorers headed over to Walmart to get some equipment and supplies for the Tree Leaves Oracle in anticipation of the upcoming festivals they will be vending. They dropped by McDonalds for lunch and the Walmart to get equipment for Tree Leaves to prepare for a upcoming festival. A quick stop at the Dollar tree for supplies and they went to do errands online. They did chai n’ wifi to get some online work. Sir Thomas paid his Progressive insurance bill. Then a little time for blogging, the Prince got impatient as did Lady Etain, so they headed out. They took a walk along the Columbia River beach park then headed back over to White Salmon home at the cliff hanger. Errands done, house cleaning and packing up consumed the rest of their day.

They wished they had waited longer to come back to the land as the rogues were at it again, starting up a drunken fest around the fire. They of course invited the adventurers and they joined them for some barbecque at first. Once the rogues began getting inebriated, they went back down to Cliffhanger for some sleep. The rogues were loud and obnoxious through the evening, fire off their shotgun, and the explorers worried about their safety.

Mileage: 30
