Coulee City, WA
Up by six A.M. at the Coulee City motel, Sir Thomas slipped out the motel room as usual not to awake Lady Etain and the Prince. He met up with the field crew, they piled into the work trucks, and hit the highway to the field location.
On the way out to the field, the crew dropped into Big Wally’s for field snacks, and then over to the Shell station for coffee and chai. The got back to the survey area, gauging the weather, and it looked like it would be clear today. They hiked and climbed up/down hills, ravines, and valleys looking for cultural remains fifty years or older. Not much to find today but acreage was accomplished.
After work, Sir Thomas grabbed some snacks and groceries for the hotel room then hugging his lovely wife and growing boy. They had a nice dinner together, played with the Prince, and called it a night.
