Charleston, South Carolina

I and my twin flame awoke to a day in the historic south with explorations on the mind. First priority was to head downtown Charleston for a sacred document we would need for upcoming activities. We bid my mom farewell for the day as we headed off for explorations. The first stop was at the Charleston information center as we looked into sights to see and things we’d like to do during our time here.

After gathering pamphlets and details, we went to Bill and Jackie’s Massage Therapy clinic for free parking and to say hi. Onwards around downtown in search of food with Mexican on the scope of interest. We decided to take Jackie’s suggestion of “Yo! Burrito”. Good choice, as my love had a stuffed burrito and I had a giant nachos plate. Our hunger satiated we headed on towards the city cemetery to look at some historic monuments, graves, and tombs. Pretty interesting especially how nature blends in with the resting dead.

On to the house of pillars where we picked up the sacred document we would need for the weekend. We were both quite happy we only had to wait 24 hours for our request to be processed. More explorations around Charleston provided some interesting sights and southern charm. Back to Mount Pleasant for a dinner with the family as weekend plans were worked out.
