Dublin, Ireland
A late start to the day as we crawled out of bed to howling winds and chilly noises lurking outside the bedroom window. No chance I was feeling up to heading out to Starbucks for a chai n’ wifi … thereby leading to the decision of working from home. Weeding through 100+ messages of the 32,000+ emails took some time – leading to a livemocha year pass to learning German, getting a paypal paycheck for travel reviews, finding out my livejournal subscription expires February 2nd, realizing my funds are approaching ground zero, getting Quickbooks and Quicken up-to-date with 2011 year-end stuff, finding out Verizon won’t forward my bills internationally, photo processing, promotions, getting signed up as a Mystery shopper, taking their online test, and uploading photos.
| I also decided to diet again, getting active again on My Calorie Counter. Even though I back-entered diet and calories for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd – I realize while I’m getting closer to my 2,000 point limit I’m still way in excess, especially with sugars. Gotta really address that.
My sweetheart got into baking mode, making chai tea brack and pumpkin pie … in fact her first ever pumpkin pie. It was quite yummy and not very good for my new diet and calorie watching. A nice dinner of Steak korma and the evening was finished with watching a re-watch (of the millionth degree) of Chasing Amy. That will forever be one of my favorite movies …. |
