Our staff, artisans, and members are a talented lot. A handful of them have taken to specializing in artistic creations involving gems, minerals, rocks, and stones. Much of this work falls within the realm of “Lapidary”.

Our founder, Thomas Baurley, began learning silver and goldsmiths, lapidary, tumbling, and jewelry making from a very early age enhancing his rock collecting skills. From 1978 to 1990 he had a diamond rock saw, grinder, polisher, tumbler, and various other tools he used to make jewelry, cabochons, boa ties, and rings

Soon we will be posting pictures of some of his old works and collections as well as from others.
