Description

Fun World “Devil” makeup kit, item #9555, for ages 8 and up. New on its original blister card, never opened. The card shows face art of a red devil, with the printed lines “Professional quality makeup – Safe – hypoallergenic – Fun & easy to use” and a “Take it off with soap & water!” burst. 1 kit available.

Condition (please see photos): new on the original card, and the card shows wear from hanging on a peg wall: edge wear, ripples and creases in the front of the card, a small crease at the upper left, and a few spots and dirt marks on the back. The plastic blister film over the horns at the left is wrinkled and loose-looking; I do not see a clear tear in the photos, but please look at the photos. The contents are in the blister and untouched.

– Makeup palette, as pictured: a large yellow/ochre pan, a brown/amber pan, and a dark brown, a bright yellow and a black pan along the right side
– Sponge
– Small brush
– A pair of molded devil horns (red and tan) in the blister at the left
The back’s step-by-step directions mention red, yellow, brown and black makeup. The palette as pictured does not show a red pan, so the red step on the back may need your own red makeup; please look at the photos.

– FOR AGES 8 AND UP.
– ABOUT THIS MAKEUP: This Fun World makeup is manufactured from ingredients generally recognized as safe for use in cosmetics. However, as with any cosmetic, some individuals may experience an allergic reaction. A patch test is recommended. Apply a spot of product to inside elbow or wrist. Leave for 30-60 minutes. If a reaction occurs, discontinue use.
– STEP-BY-STEP: 1. Red: with fingertips, dot red onto forehead, face, ears and neck, leaving large empty spaces for horns; use sponge to spread and pat smooth. 2. Brown: use brush and brown makeup to create shadows. 3. Yellow: use brush and yellow makeup to create highlights. 4. Black and accessories: with fingertips, apply black around eyes; shape eyebrows, mustache, beard and sideburns with the brush. HORNS: with small scissors cut horns as per illustration, paint with a mixture of yellow and brown, allow to dry, attach to forehead with adhesive, paint the base red with black cracks. – REMOVAL: Wash completely with soap and water. Red makeup may result in a faint shadow stain. Wash gently and repeatedly. Do not rub hard.
