Description
A bag of natural shed (molted) snake skin: several crumpled, partly torn pieces of thin, honey and tan translucent skin with a clear, detailed scale pattern. One end shows the head end with the eye-cap shape. Species is not identified: the size and look could fit a medium-size colubrid-type snake, for example a gopher or bull snake or a garter-type snake, but that is only a best guess and not a claim. Original length was not measured because the skin is in pieces; it is shown spread out and crumpled in the photos.
What you get:
- Shed snake skin in several crumpled, partly torn pieces; original length not measured
- Translucent honey to tan color with a clear scale pattern; some pieces have a little dust or dirt from the shed
- One end shows the head end with the eye-cap shape
- Total weight 0.5 oz; bagged lot about 9 x 4 x 2 inches (zip bag)
- One of a kind: you get the lot pictured
Features:
- Natural shed skin, naturally molted by the snake
- Species not identified (best guess only: medium colubrid-type snake); natural variation in color, wear and condition
- Fragile and delicate: shed skin will crumble and tear with handling, so expect some small pieces and loose flakes in the bag
