Anomalocaridids

Anomalocaridids were the biggest animals of the Cambrian Period. Their streamlined bodies moved swiftly through water. Spiked appendages pulled food into the mouth of these swimming predators. Jagged teeth crushed prey, which included trilobites and other arthropods.
