Barbara Thorson fights off school bullies and GIANTS. She has weaved an imaginary world of magic, myth, and lore about Giants plaguing her town and her constant struggle to fight them off saving the town from being demolished. She flees the pains of reality and her school counselor as she becomes an irritant to everyone. But a new friend moving in from England becomes her only friend and wanders into her mythology. A great story of growing up and imagination.
