Supernatural Horror. A washed-up<em> reporter (Played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays Negan in Walking Dead) <\/em>goes to investigate an oddity and discovers a cursed doll imprisoning a demon. It gets released and possesses a hearing-impaired girl that believes she is visited by the Virgin Mary instead. Many come to partake of her miraculous healing gift but the demon causes horror. A dark battle ensues. Good movie. Perfect plot with a believable historical setting, acting, and screenplay well done.
